It was a very nice and warm weather, as many people were wearing short sleeves and short pants.

There was a flower parade in Lisse.

Floats filled with flowers were very beautiful. A lot of people (including myself) enjoyed the Dutch spring by just being at the festival.

The theme of Japanese conversation this time was "My motto".

We talked about words or phrases which we keep in our minds all the time.

A non-Japanese member said her motto is "Your effort will eventually pay off."
She will start working in a Japanese company soon, and this was her last day to attend the Japanese conversation.

Her countless effort to improve Japanese has led to finding a job in a JP company, so her motto was very convincing.

Another member's motto is "There are 2 things you cannot change: other people and your past." She realized that it was herself who needed to change if she wanted the things to be the way she wanted. Many members were nodding to this motto (thinking about their husbands?).

Anyway, the conversation continued with full of laughs and energy.

The next Japanese conversation will be held on the 18th May.

Place: EGCC
Time: 10:30-12:30 (Registration starts from 10:15)

If you are studying Japanese and want to practice speaking skills, this is a great opportunity for you.

Don't worry about making mistakes. It's not a class.
